Airbrush and automotive paints

Hi all, does anyone know if the solvent in automotive paints or hobby lacqure will dissolve the O-ring seal in an airbrish?

Specifily the Iwata HP-SB the old non-Plus model, the new model uses Teflon seal so it's okay, I'm concerned about the old model.

car paint thinners in my experience didn't (or hasn't...) dissolved the o-ring on my tamiya sprayworks yet after about 8 months of heavy use (yes, i even used the sprayworks to redo the corner bumpers on our pajero).

would it have the same o-ring material as the iwata hp-sb?

Tamiya's ABs are made by Iwata so I'm guessing they are the same material. Just to be extra safe I would e-mail Iwata about this problem.
