2000 GA - A/C Quit Working
'00 GA 3.4L V6
A/C has quit working this summer... Light comes on on the cluster when you press it, but the compressor doesn't come on and obviously no cold air. I've checked the fuses and everything seems to check out... I tested all the wires behind the cluster with a DMM and none of them seem to show any change when pressing the A/C button, so I thought maybe the switch was at fault. I can get the compressor clutch to click when jumping power to the A/C relay under the hood, but still no cold air. Any ideas? |

Re: 2000 GA - A/C Quit Working
I'd say the relay is possibly bad, since it worked when you jumped the relay.
That switch on the HVAC unit will last for a very long time. Unless you make a habit outa kicking it, or pouring liquids on it ![]() And the no cold air , need to get the AC serviced I'd say.
