Mustang Vs Corvette

My room mate recently bought a 1978 corvette 4 speed L82 and on the way home from work we decided to race them on the highway. I was expected to win anyway but it was still a fun race. In reality it was more of a couple 3rd and 4th gear pulls. I don't know how far ahead I was but it was stupid by the end of 3rd gear. I still think that the vette is cooler anyway though haha.

Re: Mustang Vs Corvette

man we almost bought that same year vette in great condition. it was creme with a red interior, sex. but 78 was not a great year for cars in general... all the smog canister bullshit. you guys need to get the exhaust and intake system freed up, i bet thatll wake it up.

Re: Mustang Vs Corvette

Yeah the whole motor is really choked off and its got really low compression. He is looking at crate motors now so that in the coming year the mustang shouldn't be much trouble for the old vette.
