You got that right. Other forums are either too over-regulated and a pain in the butt to surf, or too under-regulated and full of BS to be of any use as technical forums. AF is a good middle-ground, in my opinion.

Mine too. AF is a great place, I have tried out tuners and style and I dont like either. Tuners has too much traffic and seems way over moderated and style is just a bunch of assholes and only a few of them really seem to know anything. Most of them pay people to work on their cars. Who the fuck does that? Anyway, learn to fit in and I am sure you'll like it here, we all had to and we're still here.

If he doesn't like it here then he can leave. We were not harsh on him, he just asked alot of stupid questions and brought 90% of it on himself. If he wants to stay around and become a contributing member, then he should probably start to act like one, or at least quit acting like a damn baby.

You guys really are being excessively harsh to this thread. When I first came to AF I asked worse questions than that guy did. Fortunatly for me, the Camero and Firebird guys were rather nice and gave me suggestions for other things to do to my car that they thought I would enjoy. They weren't calling me stupid newb and shit like that. I don't think that the E/L/T section has been quite as nice as it should be to some newbs. Yes, I know that some deserve what they get but this guy was seriously here to learn something. I didn't know shit about a car when I came here and I'd say I've learned a pretty good bit from just a car forum.
