Question Cheap, easy upgrade car

I was just wondering of anyones opinion on a cheap and easily upgradeable car? I was looking at buying a project car, does anyone have any favorites?

the ultimate cheap. easy upgrade car is the foxbody mustang, 87-93 model years. thats a fact.

oh hell yeah ^^^^ my buddies have a 2.2turbo omni that they built COMPLETELY for free. its in horrible shape and runs like shit at this point but it runs.
