New JB Weld compound

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried the new JB Weld compound on oil or gas related repairs. Did it work without draining system. I would like to use it on a 1989 ford oil pan.
Thanks

Re: New JB Weld compound

I haven't tried the new JB weld compound, didn't realise there was a new one out there. Something I have used in the past on oil pan repairs, is choped fiberglass body filler. Drain the oil, sand area to remove scale, clean and apply.
