Tach stopped working suddenly
01 Civic EX with newly installed Garrett T25 Turbo with Split-Second FIC suddenly stopped transmitting tach signal. Ground to ECU checks OK. Car starts, but now runs rough (to be expected with no tach signal). Tach signal is dead to dash and to FIC computer. Any thoughts on what to check?

Re: Tach stopped working suddenly
Your managed to boost that D motor but you cant figure out why your tach stopped working? Head over to www.7thgencivic.com and talk to those guys they love seeing some balls on these motors and you'll find your answer there. Look under the swap/turbo section DEZOD should have a good answer for ya.

I was just driving down the road. My 02 Civic EX bucked hard - twice - then sputtered and barely ran. No tach. No water temp gauge. MIL on solid. Immobilizer flashing. I'm going to pull codes this evening, but I'm afraid it will be the ECU. |
