Post VIN Check

Looking to buy 2004 Camry LE V6 for my daughter but CARFAX info seems to only by current to 12-2003. Will you provide any info available for VIN 4T1BF32K04U571103? Has 17,946 miles. Thanks in advance!!!

Re: VIN Check

If you are buying this from a dealer, most will give you a Carfax or similiar report on the car if you ask them for it.

Re: VIN Check

Thanks Mike. The dealer did run the CARFAX. It showed the car titled in 2003 for personal use but no info for the time from then to 2006. Is that odd?

I'm not sure if that is odd or not. Is this a new car dealer? Was it traded in to this dealer for a new car? If so, that may be all the records for this car.

You might still want to take it to a professional tech for inspection. If the dealer doesn't allow this, walk away. Most legitmate dealers will allow this type of inspection.

Re: VIN Check

Did anyone ever get back to you with a Carfax on this? I have unlimited reports until mid September if you want me to run it.

Disappointing. Offering your subscription to someone else is against the terms of the subscription. It's for YOUR PERSONAL use, d10k6

Thumbs up Re: VIN Check

Mike G and d10k6

- It is a reputable dealer and did buy the car. New at this CARFAX thing and the CARFAX's that I have read in the past had more info than the one for this car.

- So far has been a good car and is "Certified" for what that's worth.

Thanks All

Re: VIN Check

My father-in-law bought a "certified" used 2001 Camry just over 2 years ago. He loves his. They go over the car and replace everything that the car needs. You should receive a 3 month 3000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and the engine and drivertrain should be warrantied till the car reaches 100,000 miles. You pay a bit more for these cars, but if you are getting a used car I think it's worth it for the peace of mind it brings, I'm sure you will be happy with the car.
