need specs on zc

i have an 89 crx si that burns oil , i cant take it anymore im trying to find a zc or something to put into my crix. my funds are limited and i know that a zc is a direct bolt in but i dont know which way to go v-tec or non. i need a page i can look at that tells me the specs on the two. this is my 2nd crix my other one is an 88 crx dx w/ a b16a1 blowing gas, way too temping to drive on the streets of the commonwealth of va, so i need something to keep me out of trouble. if anyone could hook me up with a distributer for a motor i would appreciate that as well. Thanks

well if you dont want something prone to burning oil then why do you want a zc..since youve got a b16 already why dont you work on a SOHC VTEC like a z6 or somethin with a y8 head

i dont kno if you like to do projects or have the time but why dont you find another a6 bottom end in better condition, use your old tranny if its in good condition, and slap on a vtec head. it wouldnt cost very much and you can usually find good deals if you know where to look. you can find all sorts of head swaps thats will work by searchin on here or honda-tech. i dont kno much about the d15 so cant help ya there

Re: need specs on zc

Yeah in your case i'd definitely go for either a single or double cam ZC. They'll fit your budget and are direct bolt-ins. Don't go for anything higher than OBD-0 as you'll have to convert and it'll became more costly and a pain.
