Talking fuel filter

Where is the fuel filter on a 1995 Aurora? I think this is causing my care to surge and hesitate under acceleration or load. Could this be correct?

Re: fuel filter

Could be but, if your filter is plugged that bad on a 95; I'd take another look at where your getting your gas.

Re: fuel filter

fuel filter is under the car in the area of the rear driver side door...your symptoms could be a dirty throttle plate ...possibly idle air causing your cars computer to "hunt" for an idle speed giving out conflicting results..check the back of the throttle plate for heavy carbon and clean it off with throttle body cleaner
