Re: gEARS?

you will like the 4.10's in the m6. I had 4.30's which were badass, but I wouldn't put them in the stock 10-bolt rearend. Go with 4.10's.

Re: gEARS?

So 4.10's are the way 2 go then. Why do they recommend 3.73 on the a4 and 4.10's on the M6?

dont you wanna go on the highway? hehe but you should stick with 3.73 UNLESS your car is gonna be for the strip only.. but if your gonna be driving it around.. then 3.73s.. 4.10s will also really hurt your pocket when it comes to paying for gas.

Re: gEARS?

Because of the gearing differences between the transmissions.

The difference in 3.73's and 4.10's at about 70mph in 6th gear is around 500rpm MAYBE. It isn't that big of a difference in overdrive. If you let gas mileage sway your decision on performance parts for a sports car you need to get something else.
