George Barris Ala Kart
He guys,
Last week I bought the AMT Ala Kart. I really like this car and it was just 10 euro  I have about 25 models to build but I wanted to build this one first.   The colour wil be Pearl White from Tamiya. I'll try to build it OOB but when necesarry I improve some parts. After finishing it I hope it turns out like this      Kris.

After I had sanded all the bodyparts I thought it is time to make a dryfitt, to see everything fits right.
    All the parts fits really well, so this week I'll paint the body. Kris.

After all the reply's
  I got a new updateI painted the body today in Pearl White from Tamiya. First painted it in white primer and than 3 lays of pearl white. I let it dry for a couple of days and than I'll add the decals and pearl clear coat.      The Pearl colour is very hard to photograph but I'll try to make beter pics when the sun shines. Kris.

 So many people on this forum and not any feedback Is this thread just boring or is everybody speechless???? Oke yesterday I spent my time to add the decals. First the seats:  than the rooftop:   the trunkcover:  the fenders:   the body:  the trunk:   DRYFIT!!!      Tomorrow I hope to spray the pearl clear of tamiya on the car. I think it's brilliant on the pearl white.... Kris.

It looks really nice Kris.
You probably know this already, but be careful with the Tamiya clear over the decals...do a test run first! I'd mist the first few coats on really lightly just incase the decals decide to wrinkle!  Who built the kit in the first photos?

The progress looks great. This is a very unique subject and I would love to get my hands on the same model kit.
By the way, how is the build? It looks ok from your progress. I mean is there any part fitting issues because from the progress you shown, it looks like there is no major issues throughout the builds yet.
