melting battery cable connector

this is the other problem we are having the postive side battery connector keep melting .

also where do you get a replacement cable for the 98 mine connects to the fuse box and I can not find a replacement anywhere

Is your battery grounded correctly? You should be able to get a new cable at any auto parts store.
