Nitrous + Supercharger...safe?

Hello, My question to all is: Is it safe to run a supercharger AND nitrous. I've seen some models of superchargers that get sprayed with nitrous to "cool" the air in the intake process. But that's different, it's actually sprayed on/inside the charger..i think. I don't know, what do you guys think?

Re: Nitrous + Supercharger...safe?

Well my buddy is going to help me out with the whole upgrading the engine deal. I'm not exactly sure what we're getting but he told me he'll help me keep my car from "not f#!&ing up" so...that's good, lol. Not exactly sure what all it was, I know something about pulleys and like something else, he was like "if you have a leak in the blah blha blah you'll know it once you press that button, cuz you'll be able to see oil coming out your blah blah blah, something or other..yeah I should really pay attention to those details a little better huh?

hoping my signature works this time ---------->>>>yay it does, lol

Re: Nitrous + Supercharger...safe?

Thanks, I'm not finished yet, I still have doors and the back to do. And I still need red carpet and white headliner. Yeah i'm getting there, slowly but surely on the knowledge thing. I've found www.howstuffworks.com very helpful, lol.

Re: Nitrous + Supercharger...safe?

Yeah, I really like the interior myself, it looks nice.

On the note of the learning... would be a VERY good idea if you plan on doing anything mechanical to your car, much less a super charger. howstuffworks.com is a very interesting site though.

Re: Nitrous + Supercharger...safe?

okay, I appreciate opinion baby, but unless you have some way of proving your z24 theory, then just keep it to yourself. and...i'm sorry if my car could eat yours up off the line, but hey...I guess we'll never know.

Re: Nitrous + Supercharger...safe?

Hah well we could atleast hope everyone is nice. Thats why I like coming here, people answer questions, and are usually nice about it. But unfortunatly someone always has to coem and start something ending up with the thread being locked. Hmm and it sounds like this guy really knows what hes talkin about, or else he wouldnt have asked bout the super in the first place. I mean you have to know somehting in order to ask about it. And btw babycavz, I highly doubt anyone who has "headers" in their signature should be goin around strutin their stuff. You really shouldnt be hating on us 2.2's, might come back to get you some day.
