core support replacement
I have a 1994 civic and the core support is wrecked. i bought a new one but i need to know or see a diagram on how to properly remove the wrecked one from my car. i know it is tac wielded on. any suggestions? I also had the airbags deploy and was wondering if i could get new airbags and a new control module so the srs light would go off. i am also planning on doing this myself with the help of my friend who is a mechanic but i wanted to know about it myself alittle also. Thanks

Re: core support replacement
Drill the welds out, weld the new pieace in. Airbags are easy, matter of unbolting the deployed one and bolting everything back in. If it is salvaged, you cannot paint the car untill you pass inspection, other wise, you'll have to strip all the pain off and pay again for the inspection.
Good luck fixing it.
