DSM Shootout 2006

Haven't seen a thread for this yet. Who's going?

I'm making the 12 hour drive friday, and staying at the Norwalk EconoLodge (affectionately known as the sausage lodge. This aint no NOPI event...). I'll be running the EVO in EVO Stock Appearing.

Anyone else?

Re: DSM Shootout 2006

It's at least 12 hours for me, up to 15 depending on how things go. But that's just part of the experience.

Re: DSM Shootout 2006

Shit, if I was to drive one of my cars up there, I'd leave at least 2 days early just to give myself some room for breakdowns and what ever else may come along the way.

Hmmmm, sounds like a good reason for a cross country time trial. Kinda like a cannonball run. Someday in my Evo I want to do one of those, I dont trust the DSM.

I'm staying at the Econolodge, but hanging out at the best western. I'm actually there now using them for thier wireless network. My friend Bill built his motor in the parking lot last night, if you were around. It's going into the car right in front of me, as we speak Heroic effort, I really hope the car runs well (has done 10.4 in the past).

I'm rockin black tshirt with a red mitsu logo on the back today, white evo with mass plates. If anyone is out here, stop and say hello.

Edit> Had some fun on the way out. Got a flat a few hundred miles into it, and had to go the rest of the way on the spare. Luckil Bill was still in Mass picking up his shortblock, so he could grab my set of advans and toss them on the trailer. There was no room, so they rode out in his engine bay Just got them swapped in, so I can stll race
