HU adapter 04 grand am

Im installing a pioneer HU into my 04' grand am..do they sell adapter kids s oi can put these in and also do these kits come with something that will take up the extra space because obviously the aftermarket HU is alto smaller then the factory HU.

you can find a adapter for any radio into any dash, walmart will have one and all of the adapter kits are plastic so they have little cubby holes were you could put a phone or remote for your cd player in it

I think your car also has one of those new f***ed up stock stereos. I think in 04 GM switched their security systems and some other things that they run through the radio for whatever reason... Basically what could happen if you just take the stock radio out is your car will not start or run or anything. The only ways I know of avoiding this is to wire the stock HU into the trunk out of the way or a kinda expensive adapter (Not even sure there is an adapter available).

As far as a mounting kit goes you should be able to easily find one that will fit for your car.

Yeah that is a good idea look there. I have a Sunfire, but like I said before I am pretty sure it was a brand wide change for that year so...
