Nah, u think that's sad...?

Toys R Us is sad! A few years ago they had an incredibly nice selection of hard to find Revells and Monograms.... like the Esprit Sport 300, Corvette Indy, Nazca... cars that Tamiya wouldn't even bother to look at... and all sorts of weird planes and ships too.

Now, all I could find are a few funny cars, dragsters, nascar and rods, and other stuff that are simply too fugly for my taste.

First the selection is somewhat limited, and second the price is insane. I remember when a local Hobby Lobby had a sale on all plastic models, 1/2 off, I picked up the Ferrari 360 for 20 bucks, and 5 motorcycle kits for 15 bucks apeice, I couldn't pass up a great deal. I don't know what happened to Toys-R-Us, but my local store Has totaly moved everything around, and they don't have nearly as much as they did before, and I'm not talking about models, I'm talking about everything, the only models I saw were godzilla, and other sci-fi creatures

Sucks man! My hobby store is like yours though, as far as prices go. But it has a much bigger selection..some of the prices are totally insane though, like $44 for a Tamiya 300ZX convertible..

Not to change the subject too much but this distributer is selling a few kits (I stress a few) for cheap. I just ordered the Corolla's for myself.

The cars are near the bottom right of the page.
