66 Nova's got the shakes

I have a 66 Nova with a front end problem..I had the two front tires balanced but It still shakes..Usually between 60 and 70 MPH..Does anyone know or have any Idea what might be the Prob???? Thanks Much....

Re: 66 Nova's got the shakes

How were they balanced? If they were spun balanced, they should have picked up a bent rim. Look to see how much weight is on them, anything over a few ounces is a lot and might indicate a wobbly rim. Try to swap the back tires with the front and go for a ride. If the front tires are worn funny, cupped or have featheredged tread start looking for front end problems, but I think that you have something tire or wheel related. Do check your wheel bearings for looseness while you got it jacked up.
