97 Chrysler LHS electrical FUBAR

Hi. My engine light popped on and the car got real sluggish this past weekend so I took it to Auto Zone and they couldn't figure out the codes. The guy suggested I change out my plugs and ignition coil first and then the wires. I did that and for a day the car started and ran great. Then on the way to work, it just quit close to home and wouldn't start. The engine rotated fine and everything but would not catch. The battery ended up being drained (all the accessories still worked) so I ran to Auto Zone and grabbed new wires got the battery recharged and changed the plug wires out and they worked as far as getting the car going. Then five minutes after I started the car, she dies again. I had it towed to a Firestone and they say I have an electrical problem (ya think!) and they have no idea how to fix it. However, they did get it running.

Anyone have any leads on what this could be? Thanks in advance!

My guess is the ignition switch is faulty. Had that happen to a 94 I used to own.

some more, that is unless you break it. At least they're easier
to repair and get the thrill back than a pissed off girlfriend.
