Clear Coat is starting to fade...How can I fix? *PICS
As you can see in the following two pics, the clear coat is starting to fade on the rear deck and spoiler and also on the rear bumper. How can I fix this.
I was thinking, wet sanding with a high grit and then respraying another clear coat on top, but I really dont know.... ![]()

I have a small patch on my spoiler starting to fade also, so if somebody knows how to fix it that would be great.

The only way to fix it is to repaint that part of the car. I had a buddies car that started to do that and it will not stop. We tried wetsanding it and then buffing it and everything possible, I ended up re-painting the car, which I am hopefully going to finish tonight.

I also have the same problem...I have tried waxing and buffing...but none of it worked....someone did tell me about this color specific car wax that helped his car....so I might try it....not like it can get any worse....but will probably have to get it repainted....
