My experience is with the '96 3.8L, but should be the same. It is located on the transmission, on the passenger end. Best view of it (if it exists
 ) is from underneath the van. On my van there is a frame member and the odd bank exhaust manifold in the way of getting at it. It should have a heat shield which may make it easier to see/find.Good Luck

^ yup! It in very hard to see and is under a metal shield under the exhaust manifold on the trans.
