import S13s and S14s?

hello all,

soon i might be moving to boston. im coming from the UK(although im dutch ).

at the moment i have a yamaha banshee(quad) but ive been offered a nice nissan 200sx S13. nicely modified CA18det(the standard 200sx s13 engine in europe) to 225 bhp on very low boost(0.6 bar) and the engine in its state right now should be about 280ish hp at the fly with more boost.

all of that is really nice and i am just about to swap it when my dad told me yesterday we might be moving to boston within 4 months if we are going.

now i know some things about importing rules in america...but all that i can find is about skylines.

being in the UK, cars made before august 1993 are allowed to have not catalysator on it. this one, made in 1992 is then offcourse decatted. its also RHD and has a modified engine and chassis.

if its possible, how hard is it to import the car? what modifications should i do to get thru the emisions test etc? double catalysator?

any help appreciated

Re: import S13s and S14s?

You can't import it. Period. If he was moving to Canada, you could import it in 2007 (we can import 15+ year old cars), but in the States, you can't import street legal cars.

People don't get smart, you know you can't, everyone knows there are Skylines driving around, but the average person can't.
