97 accord lx light problem

I've got a 97 Accord LX (se) with 83000 miles. The dash illumination, tail lights and side marker lights have all gone out. All the fuses seem good. My wife has the same car so I was able to check the combination light/blinker switch and the dimmer in her car and both worked fine. Any suggestions before I bring it into a shop?

Thanks,

Gerry

On my 99 LX I have two fuse pannels. Do you have two pannels on your 97.
Sometimes a fuse may look good but is still blown. Check them with a tester.

Do you mean 2 in the passenger compartment? I have one by the drivers left foot and one in the engine compartment.

My fuse pannels are accessible when I open either door: passanger or driver side. In the engine bay you suppose to have fusible links. I doubt they control light circuits.
Hopefully guys that drive that model year will come up and help you better!

Re: 97 accord lx light problem

semyonlibman - that doesn't sound right. I have a 99 CE, and it has 2 fuse boxes: one behind the driver's side kick panel and one under the hood. And the one under the hood is NOT only made up of fusible links.

I don't know what your car looks like, but it does NOT have fuses on the passenger side.
