Lightbulb Strut/Shock Replacement

I am new to the forums, but finding them very helpful. I have a 2002 TB with 90K miles and it is beginning to show some wear. I have ordered the Bilstein HD replacement shocks (paid $227.81 for all 4 including free shipping), but have no experience changing them. The rear shocks look simple enough, but the front struts look a little tricky. Anyone out there done their own or have any advice? I am going to be doing brakes & rotors at the same time but that is relatively simple. Thanks for any input!

Re: Strut/Shock Replacement

I havent touched this style yet, but the fronts are a little different in that the bottom mounts on the front shocks clamp into the steering knuckle. Looks pretty straight forward giving you can get the clamp bolt loose. Might wanna hit them days in advance with PB blaster, liquid wrench or the penetrating oil of your choice.
