Im trying to find out what kind of manuel tranny is in my 97 sierra k2500 i cant read what is stamped on it can ne 1 help me out here?

check your glove box for your trucks RPO codes (a bunch of 3 digit codes). google "GMC RPO codes" . Ctrl+F and search for transmission. keep hitting Find next till you find your RPO code. good luck
