motor swap question

Can a pre 1980 chevy shortblock be put into a 89 tbi chevy pickup ?? i have a 1980 fresh short block and a pair of 92 tbi heads will these heads work and all of the accesories work as far as p/s a/c etc. basically i have a pickup with no motor but i have all the parts for the motor (brackets, tbi setup, wiring harnesses, distributor, all the sensors, flywheel) i know about the 2 piece rear main vs. the one piece but i am wondering if i am missing anything ??

Re: motor swap question

yes it will work, i have done the same thing, i rebuilt the motor in my 88 with a pre tbi block, i had to use the oil pan for the older block, everything else had the same bolt holes, ill try to think of what else and get back to you.......
