re-wire OEM foglights...
wassup... does anyone know how to re-wire the OEM foglights so they can be turned on independently of the headlights??? thanx for the info...

It would seem simple enough to do. Unscrew the foglights from the bumper or whatever, then follow the wires to where they connect, disconnect them from the end point, put in a switch power it with the battery and ground it somewhere, and you are done. It sounds simple kind of, but itmight be a pain in the arse

im not too sure if that will do... the OEM foglights came with a switch... i remember seeing that i have to interchange some wires... cant seem to find it anymore...

Welp, I may be a newbie, but tend to be a wiz with wires. Try what the other guy said, but chances are you will need to ground each light sepeartely, then, split the power wire out from the switch to the lights, and just run a straight power wire from the battery to the switch. I wish I could draw you a diagram. Battery->Switch. Seperate wire.
Switch-> Split the wire (or splice in a second one) -> One wire to each light. Ground each light. If the switch allows, never hurts to ground it too. Likely, it will be a pain. But good luck.
