Transport 3.8L
Anybody know where the vehicle speed sensor buffer (VSSB) is located on a 93 transport. I have a wiring diagram but don't where or what it looks like.
Trying to get my cruise control working. Replaced the cruise control servo under the hood and the signal light handle/ crusie switch on the steering wheel. Checked the brake/cruise switch and okay. No luck so far. The speedometer works but not the odometer. Any suggestions? |

Re: Transport 3.8L
3.1: UNder dashboard, under glove box, above convenience center
3.8: speed pickup fed direct to the PCM which outputs a 4000 pulse per mile signal to instrument panel.

Re: Transport 3.8L
Cruise control now working. I had replaced the cruise control handle on the steering wheel with one from a chev mini van at first. Nothing worked. I then got one from a 93 transport and now everything works.
Maybe the chev won't work on a pontiac or it was no good. All the connections were the same for each one. |
