Transport 3.8L

Anybody know where the vehicle speed sensor buffer (VSSB) is located on a 93 transport. I have a wiring diagram but don't where or what it looks like.

Trying to get my cruise control working. Replaced the cruise control servo under the hood and the signal light handle/ crusie switch on the steering wheel. Checked the brake/cruise switch and okay. No luck so far.

The speedometer works but not the odometer.

Any suggestions?

3.1: UNder dashboard, under glove box, above convenience center
3.8: speed pickup fed direct to the PCM which outputs a 4000 pulse per mile signal to instrument panel.

Everything else on the van works well, meaning the PCM is also working. But could the PCM still cause the cruise not to work?

Re: Transport 3.8L

Cruise control now working. I had replaced the cruise control handle on the steering wheel with one from a chev mini van at first. Nothing worked. I then got one from a 93 transport and now everything works.

Maybe the chev won't work on a pontiac or it was no good. All the connections were the same for each one.
