Help! Taillights not working on my 1995 N 1299cc Escort encore

I need help in diagnosing the following problem-

The brake lights work,the front headlights work,indicators,front and rear all work but neither the side lights or taillights work-checked the obvious,fuses, relays and bulbs all ok .Any ideas greatly appreciated this is driving me crazy!

The tailights and dash lights are on the same fuse. If you have dash lights then the problem is the wiring to the rear tails. Check this and the ground wire. If you don't have instrument lights try another fuse.
