Chaparral 2D Coupe Daytona 1966













Progress

I was sitting in the display case without decals or panel lines so took the afternoon to finish it up. It was a fun build, well worth the $3.99 I paid for it.

EDIT: Photobucket has a mind of its own...

Very nice looking model, I really like the driver in there. In the first 2 pics, the woodgrain almost looks like a blurred background and gives the car a look of speed. I like these cars and yours turned out great.

Very unusual subject and looks excellent.

Not sure about the panel lines, I alway think they look too pronounced but that's just a personal opinion.
