Seriously, everyone read this, noobs included.

Is it that hard to type so people can somewhat understand you when you post a problem? This isnt a fucking AIM chatroom where you can type however you please. Its been happening way too often lately and it seems like nobody is reading the stickies. Even when making a regular post, its just so annoying to have to try to understand what someone means instead of just being able to read it like any normal person would want.

Start using complete sentences and actual English words please.

Think this post is going to help? Sorry man, but the poor typing newbie problem will never be fixed... like many of our DSM's .

Well, I remember a thread a while back and it helped somewhat, but now it seems like we have gotten a new wave of it.

Re: Seriously, everyone read this, noobs included.

I agree, this is one topic that needs to be beaten to death. Repeatedly. I know this isn't NEDSM or NABR or anything, but it is important to me that we all act and sound like educated people, not teeny boppers that watch MTV all day because we don't even have a license yet, LOLz. Not to mention it makes it easier and more efficient to exchange information and help each other out.

Yeah it is a big issue...

I think its easier to speak properly than to do an oil change, and yet some people are asking about replacing heads or doing engine rebuilds while using grammar that resembles an 8 year old who watches cartoon network all day.

ayo ima reeplas mah ol turbo wit dat nu bigger 16g sheeeeeit yo

or

ey u kno dat 1 thing next 2 da otha thing by dat black thing on my car?

Re: Seriously, everyone read this, noobs included.

It is a problem. This won't help. The thing that seems to work best (but still not the greatest) is to just remind whoever it is that they need to type clearly and with proper grammar, etc. If they don't comply, flame them until they do or until they leave.

Re: Seriously, everyone read this, noobs included.

As much as I want to help people out here, I refuse to help people who don't even come close to trying to type right. I understand some people don't speak the best english, and some cant type for shit... but all that chat room-style writing is just terrible. Damn text messages too.

pluss it cost me close to $30.00 extra from wrong numbers texting me each month.

I agree....It is very annoying to see people type like they arent even old enough to drive a car let alone do a 420A to 4G63 conversion....I think that they can have one warning...and after that then if they dont comply we should just not answer their questions until they decide to write correctly...

Re: Seriously, everyone read this, noobs included.

English is one of my best subjects, but not by choice or because I even pay attention in English class. Never paid attention, never really put forth much effort. In fact when I was in 10th grade, I didnt turn in hardly anything all of second quarter, still got an A. The teacher liked me and my buddy Tyler, it was great. Rather than doing research for papers when we were in the computer lab we looked at subs and amps for our cars. I think I got it from my dad. He always corrected me when I misspoke. My best/favorite subject is math.
