Oil Presure??? 98 grandprix
Hello, new to this so sorry if I dont explain right..lol...I have a 1998 grandprix with only 120,000 miles, I was driving home from town and all of a sudden the oil light come on and the motor sounded like ??? I dont know...kinda chugging and when I steped on the gas there was no power at all, I wasnt able to get it home. I imediatly checked the oil but the oil was fine, the temp was fine, there is no oil leaking?? It will run?? but not good... I dont know any help would be great. The only motor work I have had done was I had the lower intake gasket replaced, not sure what that involves but. I was driving down the road like 45-50 mph when the car just didnt have any power...??

Was the engine knocking or rattling?

no befor it all of a sudden did whatever??lol umm sounded like well I dont know how to explain but kinda I guess...almost like it was fludding out...but when i stepped on the gas it would not rev up??

no the engine light hasnt been correct since they replaced a intake gasket

also prior to its problems it had an idling problem would stay on high idle unles i shut the car off and then on??...
