Exhaust no longer loud!

I recently just did an oil change and my exhaust seems to have lost about 60% of its loudness. Could anyone tell me what could be wrong? I have a 95 Max SE with a CAI and a muffler. Do I have to clean out all the carbon or is CAT clogged or something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Exclamation

Do you notice any power difference in the car/ acceleration/ etc? Then it may be a flow problem?

I don't think I've loss any HP at all just the sound. The acceleration was just as good if not better then before I did the oil change. So what could be the problem? Could it be that my muffler's messed up or something?

yeah, that happens all the time. the old oil had some sluge buildup, but now with the fresh oil, the muffler bearings got lubricated

So is the loudness completely gone? Or do I have to buy a new better muffler? Thanks for your help.

No you dont have to

Hey..
since your oil had sludge build up, most likely you had put the muffler on with the sludge buildup, now that the oil is clean, that is the way your muffler is supposed to sound.. you dont want yoour maxima to be TOO loud, you gotta keep some class.
