Fuse Keeps Blowing

i have this 96 grand am se 3.1 and it keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse so i thought it may be the pump so it took of the connect at the pump and turn on the key did the wiggle test on the wiring fuse never blew, plugged it back in didn't blow drove it for about a mile fuse blew figured it was a fuel pump going bad replaced it still blows the fuse. needs some help

Could be the oil pressure sending unit. Try unplugging the sending unit & see if the fuse blows. PCM also monitors the pressure so I'm not sure if the engine will run without it plugged in. If it won't run without the sending unit plugged in then you'll need to replace it in order to rule out an internal short in the unit.

Fuel injectors are also on the same fuse so if the pressure unit checks out you'll need to look at these next.
