Well...that was a pain

Getting the brakes to allow a 15" wheel to fit.
But I got one side done this morning.

Check out the difference.
Furthest tire = Nitto DR 315/35/17 (street)
Closer tire = M/T ET street 275/50/15 (track)
They are damn near the same width. Weird.

Caliper ground down. I will be repainting soon.
I will also get before and after pics tomorrow afternoon when I go after the passenger side so you can see how much comes off.

Rears on the car...which is dirty from a cruise in some rain yesterday.

Re: Well...that was a pain

Glasses!!!

Kinda wish I had all afternoon to work on it and just get it done, but I don't.
For track use I will just run my stock wheels (lighter) up front until my buyer gets them from me.

Re: Well...that was a pain

how do the 315s feel on your car? i can get 'torque thrust II' rims.. with 275 in front, 315 in back... for 800. with tires..

are they totally worth it?

plus, my front tires are wearing thin..

i got 275 front/285 back right now.

Pretty stable.

Required LCA's and LCA relocation brackets to get rid of the rubbing though.

Curtis, whose Vett is that next to your car? It's nice from the top veiw... Are you selling the new wheels you got a couple months ago? Or are you talking stock as in the ones that came with the car?

The Corvette is a 2002 Z06.
Drove it yesterday. It is my roommates.

I am eventually selling the stockers. I have a buyer.
I am not selling the TTII's.

Yup.
They keep the rearend from rocking even a little. Helps plant the car nicely.
