The rear fenders of my 1992 corolla are pretty much rusted out. The main area happens to be right wear the bumper is. Can someone help me out on how to go about removing the bumper and how to get it back on. Also if possible, how to fix the crumbling rust other than Bondo ( since it is hard to fill up a hole. Thanks in advance!!

Re: 1992 Corolla Bumper Removal/Rust Fixing
The correct way to fix the hole caused by rust is to cut out the rusted areas and weld in a repair panel. Using bondo or fiberglass will just allow the rust to spread. Without seeing the car, I can't tell you where the mounting bolts are for the bumper.

Cut it off a donor car.
Dealer. Aftermarket body panel supplier. Check with your local auto paint supplier to see if they know of any local suppliers of body parts. You can also try an internet search. |
