Question Interior Lighting/ parking lights

99-Rodeo2x4 auto.
Just bought it a couple weeks ago, runs handle great! Only has few minor glitches. Interior lighting driving me nuts. The dome light has power but only comes on with the dome "on" switch, it as well as the courtesy lights in the door panels do not come on when door is open. Courtesy lights do not come on at all. Checked fuses and lamps, all are good.
Second PITB I can't figure is the fog lamps. I turn them on and they will not work until I turn on the headlights,is this normal?
Help!\ Okay, just went to Autozone and Pepboys to buy new bulbs and one bulb socket for the front park/signal lights. Sylvania 1157 bulbs, no problem, but no one carries replacement socket. Both said was dealer item. Any ideas? I need to have inspection end of this month!

Re: Interior Lighting/ parking lights

The dome light thing could be a bad door switch. First I remove and inspect it and put it back in.

your Fog lights are working correctly. They are suppose to turn on only when the headlights are turned on.
