Driver side power seat

Hello,

I am having a problem with the power driver side seat. The seat will move in all directions except forward. I have no idea how long this has been bad, I never move the seat.

However, I took the car to get it washed, and the people moved the seat back, I assume to clean under the seat, and now it will not move forward.

Where should I start to troubleshoot?

The car is a 2000 LS.

its probably not a motor if it can still go backwards. maybe a loose wire or faulty switch?
