Re: Ferrari FXX - Hw Ellite

Beautiful car! Hdi 2.0 how does this model compare with other normal hotwheels quality wise? It looks really nice from your photos but does it feel closer to kyosho/autoart or is it just like other hws except with a box that says 'hotwheel elite'? I might be interested in a couple of ferraris from the hw elite series so I'd like to know...

Re: Ferrari FXX - Hw Ellite

i saw this model car in real life when i was in europe in red and blue. the car doesn't measure up to aa or kyosho but it ins't a maisto either. the price should be int he middle of those two categories. it should be more like $45ish. and when i saw this car at the particular shop i was in it was 80 euro!

Is more detailed than HW normal series very good but not compare to BBR Enzo and Kyosho our Autoart, this car dont have carpet but we are talking about a Racing car without carpet. The suspensions doesnt work . But its a Ferrari and i need in my colection.

This Hw ellite series we can compare to AA our Kyosho when the 599GTB and 430Spider came out

The price we have a 63 € in some shops , anothers shops have 79€ and anothers have 70 €

Exist the Super Elitte FXX but 300€ loool i dont want to pay much money for HW. I prefer to buy the new realeases by BBR the F430

Re: Ferrari FXX - Hw Ellite

HotWheels are trying to make people buy the Elite version by making the regular priced version absurdly low quality, check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/Ferrari-FXX-Hotw...QQcmdZViewItem Look at the vents on the front that they didn't even bother to paint and the clear plastic grille on the back. Absolute rubbish! The Elite version looks to be pretty good quality, and it's one of the most popular models so far this year. I just ordered mine last night.

Or, of course, there is the SuperElite version which I think is almost $300: http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...superelite.jpg

If you want an FXX model, you have to pick between those 3.

Re: Ferrari FXX - Hw Ellite

hey thanks for the response guys! So the quality of hw elite is somewhere between maisto and kyosho/autoart and they ask for 60~80 euros for those!?! Nah guess that's too much for me, I might be interested if they are priced around $50 though....
Superelite version cost $300??? Those are also made by BBR right? hw would be crazy to price them that high, even with all the 'details' they have put into those models.....
