A/C Fill ?
I was just wondering which port on the fiero is the low side cuz i would like to put r134a in it. Also when the a/c clutch engages it makes a little noise, not like it's dieing but just like it's hitting something inside cuz i don't think it's been used in like 5 years. Is that something i can fix/clean when i have the system empty?

Re: A/C Fill ?
The noise coming from the compressor is probably rust, just let it work its way out as long as the noise doesn't get really loud. As for changing to 134-a, you must have the system evacuated first as the oils used for r-12 systems are not compatible with 134-a systems. Once the system is evacuated, you can go to walmart or any parts store and get a conversion kit, they have all the directions you need to refit the system. The low pressure port is on the hose that runs from the compressor to the evaporator inside the car, and the high pressure port will be on the hose that runs from the condenser (radiator like thing in the front of the car by the radiator) to the compressor. Good luck, hope this helps.
