Bumpy Ride

I seem to feel every pebble the car passes over on the roadway. To me it's too noisy and you get the feel of a rugged ride. I felt this with the previous stock tires 195/60-14 (very worn out) and changed to 215/45-17 but the same feel is there. Does anyone know of any replacement or additions which will give a smoother ride

I'm no expert but you might wanna check out the struts. My moms 95 4runner(100K miles) suffered from the same thing. And I believe we changed the struts and violaaaaa......

I'd be looking at the shocks/struts as well.
You will get a firmer ride with your new wheels but you say it was like it with only 14's on so i'd be starting there at the shocks.

Have you done any suspension work..lowering etc ???

No suspension work as yet. This week I intended to purchase the B&G springs to lower the car about 1.5" or so but didn't think the shocks were bad. I spoke to a few people down here who test drove the car and said nothing was wrong. They feel i'm too picky. Thay said if I wanted a smoother more quite ride i should have purchased a Toyota. If it looked like a primera then maybe.
