I'm selling my black 1989 Mercury Topaz LS 4-door with all the amenities you expect with a Mercury: automatic transmission, power steering, power windows and locks and mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning, tilt steering, tachometer (and for you ladies, lighted vanity mirrors). Still has the factory AM/FM cassette stereo.

This summer I installed a new battery & clamps, replaced two motor mounts, and the alternator belt. It also has a new air filter and wiper blades. I just did an oil (and filter) change, and serviced all of the fluids (coolant, power steering, brake, transmission including a new ATF filter). It passed its Ada county emissions/smog test easily.

Odometer has rolled over to read 3,000 miles so I assume it has 103,000 miles.

This car does have a few minor issues, namely: the power windows don't work well and the A/C doesn't blow cold; there are a few interior cosmetic defects; there's a dent in the front passenger door and some cracks in the front bumper. But it's in pretty good shape for a 17 year old car!

Why am I selling it? I'm a Volkswagen man and I have too many cars, I need to sell some before the neighbors complain.
