What else did you change besides removing the intake? Did you change the distributor to an HEI?

Re: how to make fuel pump work oncarb from inj
The fuel injection system is a high pressure system. A carb. uses low pressure..

Re: how to make fuel pump work oncarb from inj
If it were my project, I'd find wire from the ignition that was hot only when the key was on, and wire up a relay for the fuel pump. You did dis-able the in-tank pump, right?

Re: how to make fuel pump work oncarb from inj
That pump by itself is capable of putting out over 100psi. Using a carb. with this pressure is downright dangerous..Not to mention extremely hard on the factory pump..

Re: how to make fuel pump work oncarb from inj
its a return style regulator right? and you have a psi guage on it? what i did is i cut 2 of the wires back at the pump grounded the black one i think it was, and ran the grey to a hot under the dash that went on with ign. it works fine. got a steady 5 psi when in run position
