1995 Rodeo 3.2l MAF?

This is odd, I can't seem to find the MAF. The Haynes manual shows it being in the same spot as anyother vehicle I have ever worked on. But for the life of me I can't find it on this engine. Is it IN the throttle body by chance? I have had the air box out before for other engine work and still never saw the MAF. Is it right under my nose? Thanks
Tom

There is no MAF on a 95. Most newer cars don't have them.

Are you sure, Cat Fuzz?? Not doubting you, in general, I just vividly recall cleaning my MAF sensor on my '97 Rodeo - located just outside the air filter box in the air intake tubing.

Re: 1995 Rodeo 3.2l MAF?

I dont think the '95s had a MAF sensor.

They had a MAP sensor (rectangular shaped black box) attached to the intake plenum, should have a 4 wire plug and a vacuum tube going to it. There is an air temp sensor kind of next to it (round 2 wire sensor sticking out).

My 94 Rodeo doesn't have one and my 92 Saturn doesn't have one either.

On my 2000 stang there is a MAF and I clean the wires (that are the temp sensors) every once in a great while. Am I able to clean these wires on the Rodeo by any chance?

Re: 1995 Rodeo 3.2l MAF?

Probably couldnt hurt. Pull it out and see. Just spray it with some cleaner if it looks dirty.
