Internet or Shucks Radiator for 97
I need a new radiator for my 97 Lesabre. Auto Zone was a hassle but shucks has one for $199. I checked on the internet and can get one for $138 Shipped.
Has anyone ordered a radiator from the internet that can let me know how good of one they got? Have you ordered one and had problems? I want to buy soon so if you can add anything, please let me know your experences. Thank you, Chris. |

Re: Internet or Shucks Radiator for 97
I got a Transpro "Ready-Rad" from a local radiator shop for $135.00. It comes with a lifetime warranty so you cannot go wrong with this brand. We have had some 100+ temperatures in this area and the car never goes above 180 deg. (180 deg stat) with the air cond on, in bumper-to-bumper traffic. So, was this a good deal, I think so! By the way, you can buy one from RockAuto to fit your car for $130.00 if you can't find one at a local radiator shop. This is the one for your car Transpro, Inc. Online Catalog You can also get one from O'Reilly Auto Partsfor $156.99 within 24 hrs. Same brand, "Ready-Rad" and same part number as in the Transpro link.
