i just bought 4 new 4-way speakers that are 75 rms and 220 peak power, do u think i need an amp to power these if i have an after market deck

Doubtful, what is the output of your aftermarket unit? If it matches the speakers then don't worry about an amp. If it is only 25 watts you may want a small amp to get the best performance out of the speakers.
