I have a 1998 Olds LSS. Now all the interior coutesy lights and dome lights stay on. They are on when the car is running an also when the car is off. I had to pull out all the bulbs.
Any Ideas Out There? |

Re: Interior Lights Stay On
Take apart your dash if necessary and unplug the interior light switch. If the lights go off then the switch isn't breaking the circuit.
That's as much as I can suggest with my knowledge. Hope it helps. |

Re: Interior Lights Stay On
maybe you hit the switch on accident, and just left them on. ive done it before, if the switch doesnt do anything, then you can try the disconnect thing
something else that just hit me, maybe one of the switches in the doors are broken, like that push button near the front that the door hits, maybe you have a hole in the door, and the switch isnt being pushed in, that can make ur lights stay on too, but i doubt thats it

Re: Interior Lights Stay On
First suggestion is always check the courtesy lamp switch.
The door switches may be integral with the latch, I'm not sure. Door striker switches are being phased out

Re: Interior Lights Stay On
I have this problem on my 99' 88.
Did the OP ever get this resolved? I had to pull the interior light fuse, but now I have no power to the mirrors |
