h23 vtec head swap

wondering if anybody has put a h22 head on their h23, just curious about the power gains, and what parts were necessary besides the complete head.

I've heard it was a complete waste of cash for the time you spend on it. Something about reliability (go ahead and fill me in on this). I know it will work, but you are better off just buying an H22 and poppin it in there. Good luck.

One thing, if you plan on building up the H23, the aftermarket for the head isn't nearly as big as the H22 head. As for reliablility, it's only an engine, and it only as reliable as you make it. There should be no problems as long as everything is done right and in spec.
