Damnit! I need to go single!
Got I gotta work my ass for this single turbo. I'm going to a To4-Z by Feb or march hopefully. I'm cruising to my friends place an I get the once in a life time opportunity to race a Silver gallardo with exhaust on it too! He's egg'in me on. I didn't want to waste gas though. All I have is intake an a very nice cat-back.

That night I got one kill though a Turbo 330I. It was damn quick though must have been pushing around 12+ lbs. We raced from 35-100 I beat him by a good 6+ Car lengths though. Fun little race though.

if you want a good rx-7 shop i know one in nyc. they have a 8sec 1st gen track car...

what are you gona have done along with the turbo? fmu?

I'm working it up as we speak. I'm doing cheap stuff for the twins for now just till i get to about 350 rwhp by then I should have some stuff for the single like the intercooler,boost controller,PFC an some other goodies.

who fast are turboed 330's? i know a FD stock traps at 103mph. so with the little mods maybe he'll trap a 105mph atleast.

a stock 330 traps around 95mph at most and you need atleast another 100whp to trap what jcsaleen does. since jcsaleen lost by 6 cars, that turbo 330 will need to make an additiona 60whp on top of the 100whp. so it needs to make 160whp over stock. and since you said that he can't drive for crap that means it needs to be even more then 160whp over stock.

so how much power are 330 turbos suppose to make? i know motortrend tested a few super charged 330's and they're not even as fast as a stock E46 M3.

It was a sedan 330 turbo'd. Sedan = too much weight!

Most turboed 330is are putting down high two hundred, low three hundred at the wheels. The majority of them are mid twelves, some a bit lower than that. So your telling me that an FD, which is a 14 flat car stock, with just an exhaust and intake, no boost mods or anything, is a 12 second car? Doubt it.
